My middle boy, Malakai, had a number of surgeries on both knees in 2020, and was scheduled for a 5th surgery here in Montgomery, Texas, in January of this year. Doc was shocked to learn he had a complex fracture of his leg when he opened him up, and called me while Mals was on the operating table, with the shocking news I unfortunately had 10 minutes to decide on amputation or euthanization. Because he weighed over 90 pounds, the prognosis was not good for the amputation; nonetheless, I decided on that route. He’s now running and leading a near normal life; because he spent months spitting out his meds, the relief of the Canna-Pet HAD to be a major factor in his recovery. Thanks y’all!
